You probably don’t need a flamethrower, but the excuse behind the thousands buying Elon Musk’s inferno toy is that they really want one. Elon promised that a flamethrower was coming a few months ago. Now in his official tweeter account the CEO of Tesla tweeted that more than 10,000 flamethrower pre-orders have been recorded, which means sales topping over $5 million just from a goddamn flamethrower that does you virtually nothing. The pre-orders initially cost $600 but now are priced at $500. Besides the Boring company has already so 20,000 of them. You might ask why you would need venture funding when you can earn millions just selling a goddamn flamethrower. That’s just the way it is. Once anyone accomplish their American dream they can make millions just selling almost anything.

Moreover Elon being sarcastic to the extreme has labelled his products as not a Flamethrower after some customs officers refused to ship anything named “Flamethrower”. Elon Musk’s has been tweeted on his official tweeter account that “The rumor that I’m secretly creating a zombie apocalypse to generate demand for flamethrowers is completely false” , “You’d need millions of zombies for a so-called “apocalypse” anyway. Where would I even get a factory big enough to make so many!?Well Elon, No matter what you say, 20,000 fire-breathing toys in the hands of people who obviously doesn’t know how to use one and don’t need one is probably not a good idea at all. But if you are preparing for the World War Z you can order one once the stocks are updated.
